Kia ora, I’m Antonio.

My miniature painting journey started by being introduced by my Nana to the Warhammer game as a young kid painting Lord of the Rings models via a magazine kit.

Fast forward to adulthood, I found miniature painting to be such a great creative outlet from my full-time job, alongside the satisfaction of transforming a box of grey plastic to a fully realised army of colour, texture and narrative.

After many a conversation with my darling wife Alice around combining my creative and business development skills - Pear Tree Commission Painting was established in 2023 as a way of sharing my creative services to a community that loves to play with miniatures but frequently finds themselves struggling to have time to paint and create.

Since 2023 we’ve worked on all sorts of commissions, from your classic Warhammer 40k armies, to collectable items, feature sculptures, promotional figures and paint refurbishment of sentimental ornaments. From customers right here in Wellington, to as far away as Japan - all given the care and attention they deserve, with some amazing results.

I look forward to bringing my skill set to your ideas and I am grateful for every opportunity to create miniatures and figures that you are proud to showcase.
